Online

Please join us for our next installment of the Bridging the Gap Webinar Series on “Doing Policy Relevant Research” with Jeff Colgan and Naazneen Barma on Thursday, May 19, from 3.30 to 4.30 pm Eastern. Colgan is the Richard Holbrooke Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University. His research focuses on global energy politics and the causes of war. The webinar will focus on how Colgan has generated and conducted policy-relevant research agendas that have resulted in both major scholarly publications and policy engagement on those topics, along with suggestions for how other scholars might think about developing research programs aimed at producing similar outputs. Barma, co-Director of Bridging the Gap and Assistant Professor at the Naval Postgraduate School, will moderate the discussion.
