Brandon Boylan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and the Associate Director of Arctic & Northern Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). He is also a faculty affiliate of the Center for the Study of Security, Hazards, Response, and Preparedness (C-SSHRP) at UAF. He teaches a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in international relations and research methods. Prior to joining the faculty at UAF, he was a Research Associate at the Ford Institute for Human Security at the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Ph.D. in international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh.
