Meredith is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Michigan and currently a visiting fellow at the George Washington University’s Elliot School of International Affairs. Her work focuses on the state’s generation of military capabilities, human rights and security organizations. Her current projects include examining government delegation of force to local non-state actors, understanding whether military interventions limit state-sponsored killings, and how the state security apparatus impacts systematic human right practices. Before beginning graduate school, Meredith worked at The Boeing Company on foreign military sales.
