Bio

Scott Moore is currently Giorgio Ruffolo Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and the Sustainability Science Program at Harvard University. His current research focuses on the politics and policy dimensions of water scarcity, particularly in East and South Asia. Before joining Harvard, Scott completed his dissertation fieldwork in China as a pre-doctoral researcher at the Brookings Institution China Center. His prior work and research experience includes the US Department of Energy China Office and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and he has advised a range of organizations on environmental and water resource issues including the Atlantic Council, the German Foreign Office, and a Fortune 500 agri-business company. Scott holds doctoral and master’s degrees from Oxford University and an undergraduate degree from Princeton.  He speaks Mandarin and is a Truman, Fulbright, and Rhodes Scholar. In 2014-2015 Scott will serve as a Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow.
