On May 24, 2023, Bridging the Gap and Transfer for Transformation (GIGA) hosted a virtual roundtable to reflect on academic exchange with the policy world. Naaz Barma, Jim Goldgeier, Amitabh Mattoo, Amrita Narlikar, and Janice Stein discussed worst and best practices for publicly engaged scholarship. The panel drew on highlights from the centenary special issue of International Affairs, a “how not to guide” for international relations.
