Rethinking How We Teach International Relations
On July 21, 2020, Bridging the Gap hosted a virtual workshop on Rethinking How We Teach International Relations, chaired by BTG co-director Jim Goldgeier with Anjali Dayal, Kim Yi Dionne, Meg Guliford, Meredith Loken, Paul Poast, and Robbie Shilliam. We are grateful to all our speakers for their insightful recommendations on how international relations scholars can incorporate race into their teaching and scholarship, and for their frank discussion of how the discipline has marginalized race-centered views of global affairs.
